Aakhyan Theatre Group presents a compelling Double Performance: ‘Surma’ and ‘Adha Shutter.’
Founded in November 2025 with a landmark debut at Studio Safdar, Aakhyan returns to the same stage to continue its exploration of the human psyche. As an independent collective, we focus on the raw, unspoken tensions that define our lives, brought to life through disciplined acting and minimalist design.
This evening features two distinct narratives that peel back the layers of the seen and the unseen:
Surma: A haunting exploration of memories and truths that hide in plain sight—a story that begins in the eyes but lingers in the soul.
Adha Shutter: A journey into the world of shadows and secrecy, examining the lives lived behind "half-closed shutters" and the masks we wear to survive.
Experience theatre that prioritizes the truth of the moment and the intensity of the ensemble.
