Kalkiyin main characters are Sundara Cholar, Vanthiya Thevan, Periya Pazhuvetaraiyar, Nandini, Kundavai, Vanathi, Alwarkadiyan, Ravidasan, Arulmozhi Barman, Aditha karikalan, China Pazhuvetaraiyar, Josier, Poonkuzhali, Chendamudan and Mandakini. The artists who have carried the characters on their shoulders proved their calibre and done a commendable performance.
Grand sets, well delivered dialogues and the lights, music etc., deserves appreciation. The scenes with trick shots such as Head cutting, building collapse, ship burning are commendable.
Without causing damage to main story, the natural dialogue was written.
