`Ammavra Ganda` is one of the most popular Comedy plays, which has entertained five generations of Kannada audience.

Ammavru Saroja is a dominating, modern feminist who brooks no nonsense. Subbu is her strong-silent loving husband. The play explodes with humour when the insufferable Chauvinist Narasimhaiah comes over for High-Tea. Ammavru crackles with wit & satire when she witnesses the plight of Kamalu, the long suffering wife of Narasimhaiah.
