About The Event
An exploration of contemporary relevance of traditional themes, the production presents three stories of women whose lives are connected with Krishna. Devaki is presented in Bharatanatyam, Radha in Odissi and Draupadi in Kathak. Underlining the universality of their stories is a modern Indian woman, Anamika, who speaks to the audience in English of her everyday experiences. She, too, is searching for a passion, a passion that is her Krishna, her strength and her reason to carry on. After five successful shows in Bangalore, this production is brought to Mumbai by ORRA and the NCPA on the occasion of International Women's Day.
