Once there was a man who wanted to fly. He saw a bird and thought, "If I could just get rid of everything heavy inside me, I could fly too." So he started to empty himself.
First, he got rid of his anger and his greed. He thought they were bad feelings that just weighed him down. Then he threw away his happiness and his jokes, thinking they were useless.
Finally, all he had left was his love and his memories. They told him, "We are the most important parts of you! We are your wings!" But he didn't listen. He threw them away too.
He stood there, feeling empty, and waited to fly. But instead of flying, he just turned into a small, sad stone. The story tells us that the feelings and memories we have are not a burden. They are what make us who we are and let us live a full life.
