About The Event
Cigar is the story of family of a war veteran living in Jalandhar set up in backdrop of 1971 war. Having lost their mother the elder son takes responsibility of bringing up his younger siblings in the absence of his father who is continuously occupied with his duties of ensuring safety at the borders. The younger son gets inspired by his father to join army but the elder one is against it. The play shows the life and plight that the family of soldier goes through. It`s a beautiful rendition of emotions of people having different personalities belonging to the same family.
