Batwaara
The play Batwaara is based on short stories by Saadat Hasan Manto, Munshi Premchand and Parag Dubey. This play is a collage of three beautiful stories, depicting the pain of the partition of India.
An old man in search of his daughter, two brothers coming from Lahore to Amritsar leaving everything behind, and a mad man from Lahore.
The partition changed their lives forever, not only was it the partition of India, but also the partition of their hearts. With a little humour added, the play takes the audience through the journey of this horrifying phase of their lives.
Bazaar
This can be any Bazaar, of any city, this can be your bazaar, the bazaar you go every weekend, to shop, to eat or just to roam around. All you see is happiness, smiles and money. But what people dont know is what happening inside this bazaar. This play brings you those stories, stories of people making a living from this bazaar, of the people who you dont meet every day, a lady who sweeps and cleans the bazaar every morning, a prostitute who tries to catch her customers everyday in one of the restaurants, and a police man in love with a girl he met in this bazaar.
All these people have their stories, the stories you must know, come and watch 'Bazaar'.
