About The Event
Bhirrrr... follows Asha, a farmer from rural Maharashtra, who journeys through memories with her constant companion - her own mind. Through Ovis, riddles, stories, and intimate conversations, fragments of childhood, marriage, farming, motherhood, and everyday life gradually unfold, revealing a world where joy, humour, labour, and loss exist side by side. As Asha navigates the uncertainties that reshape her life, personal memories begin to echo the experiences of countless rural women whose labour, creativity, and wisdom often remain unseen. Rooted in oral traditions and lived experience, Bhirrrr... is a theatrical celebration of the resilience, imagination, and quiet brilliance of women who transform lived wisdom into song.
