About The Event
Brachio: The Story of a Lighthouse is a play for children built on the principles of social justice and equity, using an important element of childhood - a person’s height. This story is about the hope that friendship offers to heal a fractured, divided society, told through an individual’s discovery of what makes one special.
In a seaside village celebrating the lighthouse’s birthday, three best friends – Momo, Jojo, and the tall Brachio – find their friendship is threatened when Lolo the ladder seller brings ladders and Ringo the circus master brings opportunity to the village.
Join us on a fun visual, musical journey, as we play games, sing songs, climb ladders, perform tricks, and wave at ships. Open to people of all heights. Come with your friends, because friendship is important.
