About The Event
Dastan e Kabir, a Dastangoi presentation on the life, poetry, and philosophy of Kabir Das. Drawing on Kabir`s poems and Bijaks and on writings by scholars such as Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Mujeeb Rizvi, Purushottam Agrawal, G.H. Westcott’s, John Stratton Hawley, Linda Hess, Ali Sardar Jafri, and on Kumar Gandharv and The Kabir Project, it brings a new fresh look at Kabir’s timeless voice through existentialism and Budhha, Ambedkar and Iqbal and Mir and Ghalib.
