About The Event
‘Dosticha Dukaan, is a fun and nostalgic musical experience, about friendship, love and experiences, of a bunch of friends in their late 20s.
A group of 6 friends, coming from different parts of Maharashtra viz. Satara, Sangli, Amravati, Pune and Mumbai, have arrived in a small town named Warud in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, to attend a marriage ceremony of one of them. It's been long since all these have caught up, fighting through their personal lives and careers.
The reunion happens at a katta, and their stories begin to unfold in the form of songs and time flows by quickly, making them and the audience realize something magical about life!
The program offers a vibrant fusion of dance, music, theatre, poetry, and performance, all centered on celebrating the emotional, cultural, and literary wealth of the Marathi language.
