Writer-composer Deep Dabare and director Siddhesh Dhuri turn an old friends’ reunion into a spirited Marathi musical filled with laughter, memories and the bonds that last.
Six friends from Satara, Sangli, Amravati, Pune, and Mumbai reunite in the small town of Warud for a wedding. Now in their late twenties and swept up in the demands of work and life, they find themselves together after far too long. As they gather at a familiar katta, old memories resurface and new stories come to life through songs, poetry, and conversation.
A Wide Wings Media and Drukshravya Studio production, presented by Smrutigandh, ‘Dosticha Dukaan’ captures the easy camaraderie of friendships that pick up where they left off, even after years apart. As laughter gives way to memories and long-unfinished conversations, the reunion becomes a reminder of the people and moments that stay with us, even as life moves on.
Featuring Nikhil Pujari, Eesha Kiran, Siddhesh Dhuri, Swapnil Bhave, and Aditya Marathe alongside Dabare, the production brings together music, poetry and storytelling in a warm celebration of friendship and the simple magic of finding your way back to one another.
