Ek Akela Iss Sheher Mein is a special evening of stories, poetry, music and conversations, brought together in Laksh Maheshwari’s signature storytelling style.
In a city filled with millions of people, there are still moments when we find ourselves alone — walking through familiar streets, remembering people we once knew, revisiting conversations we never finished, and finding stories in places we never expected.
Through stories that feel deeply personal yet strangely familiar, Laksh takes the audience on a journey through love, longing, friendships, heartbreak, nostalgia, hope and the little moments that quietly become a part of who we are.
But this isn’t just a storytelling show.
Poetry finds its way into conversations. Songs appear where words fall short. Some stories will make you laugh, some might take you back to someone or somewhere you had almost forgotten, and some may simply make you sit quietly and feel.
True to Laksh’s style, the evening moves effortlessly between humour and emotion, between spoken words and poetry, and between stories from his world and memories from yours.
And because this is a special surprise show, not everything about the evening will be revealed beforehand.
There will be stories you may know, stories you have never heard before, poetry, songs, unexpected moments and a few surprises that are meant to be experienced only inside the room.
For a couple of hours, strangers in a theatre become part of the same story.
Because sometimes, even in a city full of people, all it takes is one story to make you feel a little less alone.
