About The Event
This one-hour storytelling event is a ‘re-telling’ of the Puranic story of Ganga’s descent to Earth, broken into four episodes. As it unfolds, it asks multiple questions about human apathy and neglect, about the connections we refuse to make with our environment, about what our myths and legends stand for, about our unwillingness to ask questions - of ourselves and of the world we inhabit. This tongue-in-cheek account is musical and interactive. Come and take part in Ganga’s journey - from the time of her birth to her arrival on our planet. Just like her, Ganga’s story is full of meandering paths and ripples that turn into rapids. There's certainly more in her story than meets the eye.
