About The Event

Why Gattu Bhaiya Didn’t Die by Suicide

A performance by Manas Bhardwaj

“Why Gattu Bhaiya Didn’t Die by Suicide” is not just a performance — it’s a question.

A question that gently enters your heart and makes you pause, reflect, and feel.

Through powerful poetry and honest storytelling, Manas Bhardwaj brings us the story of Gattu Bhaiya — a man who was broken, tired, and on the edge. Life had been unkind, the world had turned its back, and yet... he didn’t give up.

This is not a tale of tragedy. It’s a journey of survival.

The performance dives deep into the pain of depression, the weight of expectations, and the silent storms so many of us hide inside. But in the end, Gattu Bhaiya chooses life — not because it’s easy, but because something inside him whispers, “Try once more.”

With raw emotions, soul-stirring poetry, and a tender voice, Manas Bhardwaj reminds us that asking for help is not weakness — it’s courage. That even the smallest bit of hope can pull someone back from the edge.

This is more than just a story about suicide prevention.

It’s a celebration of resilience, human connection, and the will to stay alive — even when it hurts.

If you’ve ever felt lost, alone, or on the verge of giving up… this performance is for you.

It`s not about breaking down.

It`s about finding reasons to hold on.
