About The Event
After Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation at Raigad Fort in 1674, the time had come to expand Swarajya.
Around the same time, the Adilshahi Sultanate was in a state of unrest due to conflicts between the Dakshinis and Pathans.
Sensing an opportunity, Maharaj formed an alliance with the Qutb Shahi Sultanate to conquer Adilshahi Karnataka.
What seemed like a formidable plan on paper turned into a one-and-a-half-year-long campaign, becoming one of the most memorable chapters in Maratha history.
