The Big M of Madness is a visceral reimagining of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, where the familiar tale of ambition and downfall becomes a haunting reflection on absence - of people, of conscience, of care. Set in a world where Kannada, Hindi, and Shakespearean English collide and converse, the play peers into the dark corridors of power, asking: what happens when the pursuit of greatness leaves no room for the human? Through shifting voices, stark silences, and surreal imagery, we follow a man’s rise to the top—only to find him stranded, blood-soaked and alone, atop a crumbling empire of his own making. This is not just Macbeth’s madness—it is the madness of a world that forgets to listen, to feel, to belong.
