About The Event
Kathasutra Utsav is a showcase of our two productions, Kathasutra 1.0 and Kathasutra 2.0 each comprising of 2 stories .Its a celebration of Hindi literature and traditional style of Kathavachan or Story-telling through Voice and Visual art. Timings are as follows
Kathasutra 1.0 - 5:30-6:30pm MANTO`S MR HAMEEDA & HARI SHANKAR PARSAI`S SEWA KA SHAUK -depicting human emotions of LOVE & PAIN
Kathasutra 2.0 - 7:00-8:00pm PREMCHAND`S MISS PADMA & BUDDHI KAKI -depicting human emotions of BETRAYAL & SORROW
It is an attempt to stage some very realistic stories in a soul stirring experience. The event will stage four plays; all depicting different flavours and colours of life. It involves artists from theatre and voice industry weaved together through special medium of story narration and beautiful array of light and sound .
