LAGHU
(Meaning: small, short, brief, beautiful)
LAGHU is a theatre initiative to discover short stories in Hindi//Urdu and bring them to the stage as solo performances.
The idea is to create a show consisting of three solo performances and perform them at venues across Mumbai and the country, on a regular basis.
The minimalist style of production would make the show flexible and easy to sustain over a long period. As more short stories are identified, the umbrella of performers will broaden.
The first edition of LAGHU consists of women-centric themes and the stories are as follows -
