Vijaydaan Detha's short story 'Duvidha' (Maee Ri Mai Ka Se Kahun) is the story of a woman's desire and her plans and the features of divisive Bhamashadha. The irony of the haphazard nature of today's progressive division, which allows women to walk shoulder to shoulder with men and provide them with a sense of superiority.
Women today, who claim to have reached the height of science and philosophy, are not free to use their mental and lyrical powers – for they have to break their will and reluctance with male dominant thoughts. A woman's entire existence is divided into two parts by Kapha, from birth till marriage, her excesses are after her marriage and later when they have children.
The right sky of a woman's existence today is only and only 'from sheep to cattle'. This divisive state of affairs is a very progressive story "Duvidha".
