Bengaluru’s Kannada theatre landscape is set for a major event this September 2026 as Kalaadhyuti Productions presents Maley Nilluvavarege, its much-anticipated second production following the resounding success of Undaadi Gunda.
What makes this production truly special is the return of celebrated actor Rajesh Nataranga to the stage after more than two decades devoted to screen acting. Revered for his powerful performances and deep roots in theatre, Rajesh’s comeback marks a rare and significant moment for Kannada performing arts. Adapted into Kannada by acclaimed actor and writer Shri L. S. Sudheendra from a German novel, Maley Nilluvavarege has remained an audience favourite for decades.
Directed by Sharath Parvathavani, the gripping thriller follows a stranded salesman who seeks shelter in a former judge’s house during a storm, only to become entangled in a seemingly harmless courtroom game that spirals into a dangerous battle of truth, guilt, and survival. With its masterful twists and edge-of-the-seat climax, the production promises an unforgettable theatrical experience for both seasoned theatre lovers and a new generation of audiences.
