About The Event

Massage is a two act play, in fact a monologue in which Rakesh Bedi portrays several characters which can be seen vividly as the play progresses.

Written by one of the most prolific and hard hitting writers of modern India, Mr. Vijay Tendulkar, Massage tries to peep into the under belly of todays society through the escapades of Happy Kumar who wants to join the film industry to become an actor but unfortunately becomes the fourth assistant director of a film maker called Kolhi who specializes in the snake and sex genre of cinema.

With his sensitivity gone for a toss, he becomes worn out and disillusioned and finally lands up in a ladies gym as an instructor. His interactions with the ladies in the gym create rib tickling humor. But here too his days are numbered but Happy learns the intricacies of massage and becomes a famous masseur.

He meets many other interesting characters during his life journey. May it be cunning lawyer, or the unworthy politician, or his funny P.A. Pandey, or the woman of his life, or the heroine, or the heroines mother, who almost molests him, Rakesh Bedi plays 24 different characters deftly in his inimitable comic style in a span of two hours with a good dose of humor.
