About The Event
This is a story of a girl facing many challenges of being an unconventional women in a conventional male dominated society. Always in search of some unanswered questions, praying that she gets to be 'herself'
A very realistic play, 'Meeta ki Kahani' written by an eminent Marathi playwright Vijay Tendulkar in which Bapu narrates the story of a friend Sumitras alias 'Meeta' who has been brought up with boys from her childhood. She gets adapted to the behaviour of the boys and becomes like them.
In turn she starts liking a girl who is again of the same gender as her. Her love for this girl results in negative reactions from the society as well as from the family members.
