Narayani is a devotional theatrical offering rooted in the living legend of a 13th-century Rajput woman whose life became scripture. Born Narayani Devi in Dokwa, her deification as Rani Sati Dadi, the presiding deity of Jhunjhunu, worshipped across the world as the eternal embodiment of Shakti.
The production traces this arc — from mortal devotion to divine incarnation — through classical narrative, devotional music, and stagecraft that draws on the oral and ceremonial traditions. It is not a historical reconstruction. It is a darshan — a sacred viewing — of feminine power at its most sovereign: love that does not yield, faith that does not negotiate, and sacrifice that becomes eternal.
