About The Event
Margam means the traditional repertoire of Bharatanatyam. Through this performance, we will present an excerpt of selected pieces based on the female energy. Be it a Goddess or a regular woman. These traditional pieces reflect the different aspects of womanhood.

- Goddess: Simhavahini, meaning "she who rides a lion".
- Raga: Ranjini.
- Tala: Adi.
- Musical Form: A varnam, which is a type of composition that forms the backbone of a raga's mood (bhava) and is a central part of a dancer's repertoire or a musician's concert.
