Ours is a culture that has cultivated this attitude from the beginning. But lately the questioning attitude remains, but neither the interest to find an answer to the question nor the patience to know has gone. Questioning everything and defying everything has become our pride.

Poet Kalidasa says – “We should not reject anything because it is old or new”. A wise man neither accepts nor rejects anything without studying it. Only fools take other people`s opinions as their own and make baseless value judgments.

Ondu Vilaya Kathe - It is a story of liberation. A death story. A story of rebirth. A tale of duality of mind. A tale of difficulty. A tale of repentance. When darkness dies, light is born, and when knowledge shines, ignorance ends. As soon as you feel the urge to fight, you will get the results of the hardships. Self-realization happens only when the ego dies.

The play has a plot that explores the current state of mind and ponders how timeless truths are still relevant today. The truth is the same but the ways of telling it have changed. The tone of discourse has changed. There is a need to educate in a language that even a student can understand. A story of "Ondu Vilaya Kathe" is a story of rhythmic inertia and sprouting a new shoot from an old root.
