Panchagavya - a five-faceted exposition of the legends of exceptional children who have made their mark through remarkable achievements in Kannada Poetry and Mythology. The unwavering devotion of Prahlada, the determination of Nachiketa, the unshakeable resolve or intend of young Dhruva, the unparalleled struggle and courage of Ashtavakra, the vast knowledge of young Shankaracharya are all exemplary ideals for children. These exceptional qualities make them role models for children, inspiring them to cultivate similar values and principles.
Panchagavya is an attempt to document these exemplary ideals in a symbolic manner. This play`s uniqueness lies in its innovative storytelling, blending these five themes into a solo performance, within the limits of a minimalist stage. We have lost the practice of narrating stories that impart moral values and lessons. Kaajaana` aspires to bring such experimental plays to experiences for the children and parents.
