Phanishwarnath Renu is one of the famous writers of Hindi literature. The vibrant depiction of Indian, especially rural society of Bihar is the basis of Renu`s writing. The basis of this play is his famous story Panchlight, to which necessary additions and subtractions have been made to adapt it to the art of theatre, which should also be done because story is a different genre and play is a different one. Any poem, story, novel or essay etc will have to undergo necessary changes to adapt to the drama genre.
