About The Event
This farce humorously portrays the various predicaments of friends Parameshi and Krishnoji, who are ensnared in the bonds of love. Hulivana, who constantly confuses names and brings laughter, along with his sharp-tongued wife Amba Bai, who has transformed this `tiger` into a mere house cat, add a special charm to the play. Parameshi is in love with Rashmi, the daughter of Hulivana`s first wife. A police constable, aspiring to be a poet and frustrated by not having made a single arrest, and Pundariku, a former bandit, along with his romantic involvement with Chinni, further enrich the narrative. All these threads intertwine to form a complex web, which is skillfully and engagingly unraveled, leading to a happy ending.
