About The Event
This Deepavali and Kannada Rajyotsava, Orion Mall Rajajinagar presents Prabhath Kalavidaru`s Shree Rama Prateeksha, Prabhath Kalavidaru`s acclaimed dance ballet based on Maharishi Valmiki`s Ramayana, brought to life on a grand Mysore Palace-themed stage at the mall`s lakeside.
Premiered in 1988 and performed over 500 times across the globe, Shree Rama Prateeksha traces Lord Rama`s journey from his youth protecting Maharishi Vishwamitra`s sacred rituals, through exile, to the climactic battle against Ravana: a timeless story of righteousness, compassion, and dharma.
The ballet also honours the devotion of Ahalya, Sita, Sugreeva, Hanuman, Bharata, and the citizens of Ayodhya, whose faith illuminates Rama`s divine journey.
Staged this year against the backdrop of a majestic Mysore Palace-inspired set on Orion Mall`s scenic lakeside, the evening extends beyond the performance itself. Guests can experience a specially curated Garden of Hope and Bridge of Faith, both designed around motifs from the Ramayana, alongside immersive experience zones set up across the mall, together marking the spirit of Diwali, Kannada Rajyotsava, and Lord Rama`s homecoming after the triumph of good over evil.
Presented by Orion Mall Rajajinagar in association with GoBrahma Productions.
