About The Event
A devout temple priest finds his faith, desire and carefully guarded identity colliding when the flowers meant for Shiva become entangled with his secret love. Through this deceptively simple tale, Girish Karnad explores devotion, sexuality, purity and the contradictions between private desire and public morality.
