summary of the play -

"Princess Juliana" is a satirical play that sharply critiques society`s ignorance, blind faith, and the foolishness of those in power. The story begins with a commotion in the royal palace caused by Princess Juliana`s crying. The king, ministers, jester, and doctor all try various ways to console her, but no one manages to identify the real problem.

Eventually, the queen reveals that the cause of the princess’s distress is that her feet have been scorched by the heat of the sun. In their attempt to solve this problem, the king, ministers, and other courtiers resort to bizarre and absurd solutions. At one point, they plan to set up a huge canopy across the kingdom, and at other times, they waste time and resources on other impractical ideas.

The play "Princess Juliana" uses witty dialogues and humor to entertain the audience while subtly highlighting the absurdity of misplaced priorities and misguided efforts.
