Refund is a hilarious comedy that revolves around an ordinary, unsuccessful middle-aged man who refuses to accept responsibility for his failures in life. Instead, he blames his school and teachers for not educating him properly.
Determined to prove his point, he marches into his old school and confronts the Principal, demanding a full refund of all the fees he paid during his years of education—along with interest! According to him, since the school failed to make him successful, it must compensate him for its shortcomings.
The situation takes an absurdly funny turn when he demands to be re-examined in all his school subjects. While he is determined to fail the examinations and prove that the school taught him nothing, his former teachers are equally determined to ensure that he passes. What follows is a delightful battle of wits, where the usual roles of student and teacher are hilariously reversed.
