RIP is a woman’s personal, and political, narration full of satire and humour. An interactive solo, where a woman seeks her path, within her restricted life. she succeeds in convincing her man to take her along, to fulfill her deep-seated desire of travelling. The woman’s travel experiences and the chain of events that unfold in the forest directly target rudimentary patriarchal thinking. It takes the audience into a journey, also their own, of emotions, opinions, and questioning, of every day and taken for granted conventionality of women’s lives, in individual, social, cultural, and political milieus. RIP culminates on a high note, celebrating the women.
