About The Event
Set against the backdrop of World War II, this tender tale of teenage lovers begins as a Christian boy hides a Jew in his study to avoid being sent to a concentration camp and fall prey to Nazi soldiers. Gradually the life outside the closet gets so mixed with the life inside the closet that only one question remains…what is freedom? What is the meaning of life? Why is war so important?
