
A linguistic professor takes on a challenge to make a young balloon seller in Tippe Cross, Miss Universe. In the process of grooming her appearance, ideology, speech and thought, they try to change the essence which defined her personality. This play highlights this transition and its consequences. The marginalised are often given false promises by the privileged in exchange of some favour. Once the work is done, they just move on. This play portrays the dominance the privileged holds especially when talking to the marginalised. This play also highlights the difference between haves and the have nots.
