About The Event
'Avadhi' a pioneer online Kannada magazine, headed by veteran media person Mr GN Mohan, is organizing a three days theatre festival. Shripad Bhat Ranga Utsav, as the name suggests it is three days festival celebrating Shripad Bhat's contribution to kannada theatre. The theme of the festival is 'kaggattala kaala' the dark moment. The three day festival consists of plays, poetry session, interactive session and key note address session.
First day of the Programme has inauguration, poetry recital by five prominent kannada poets. Reasing the souvenir.
The three plays enacted are 'Misteek' by Sadat Hasan Manto, 'Chitra' and 'Kempu kanagale' by Rabinranatha Tagore. All the three plays are directed by Shripad Bhat.
