""Sri Krishna Sandha" is a famous episode in Mahabharata where Krishna tries to negotiate between Kauravas and Pandavas to bring about peace between them. How would this look if it is played by illiterate people from a rural background, is the essence of the play. The play with its rural dialect while bringing laughter to the audience goes on to stress the fact how important is education and it is necessary to make our villages 100% literate. The play writer Mr. Ashwath has in his own comical way blended the story of Mahabharata setting it to a rural environment & driving a very strong message.
