About The Event
Tamasha Republic is a bilingual experimental play about creative artists who are feeling suffocated in todays regressive world. The socio-economic fabric of the country has changed in the last few years and that has percolated in their industry as well. The 3 main characters struggle through their personal and professional lives while performing for the audience, and in the process end up revealing their own vulnerabilities.
A mix of song satire and sarcasm, this is a show after a while its no longer clear what is staged what is real. It becomes difficult to differentiate fact from fiction.
