The Courtesan Project by Manjari Chaturvedi Uff Malka Jaan & The Velvet Courtesans
The concert re-lives the magic of The Courtesan, the muse for poets, painters, sculptors, artists, musicians, writers, filmmakers and the creative thought at large. A mega production wherein the audience will experience a bygone era, the dance of these incredible royal women performers of the erstwhile courts. This theatrical dance production is the brainchild of Manjari Chaturvedi, it incorporates theatrical story-telling performances by Actor Neesha Singh a well-known name in Bollywood and Dastangoi performance by the first female Dastango of India, Fauzia Dastango and brilliant dance sequences by the world-renowned Maestro Manjari Chaturvedi. Three women, who mesmerize the audience with the lives of the erstwhile courtesans.
