About The Event
Blindside is a devised theatre performance based on CUT, a novel in English by Sreemoyee Piu Kundu. The play is directed by Dr. Abhilash Pillai, Associate Professor at the National School of Drama. The play explores the other side of the professional life of a theatre artist after death through his memoirs- autobiography. It gives a glimpse of his diverse relationships with other peoples in theatre and films, his passion for work and above all his personal desires and weaknesses. As the protagonist of the play never appears on stage, his whole life is seen through other person’s perspective.
