The murder of a goat. A classic children's play about thieves and murderers. A pornographic film set. A cactus in the waiting area of a high-end restaurant witnesses a strange discussion. Four dark comedies that highlight something…something we don’t quite know. But we laugh and remain silent.
About the Troupe/Director:
Troupe: Dramanon Bengaluru is an artist’s collective that supports original writing, nurtures new talent and uses theatre tools for learning and development at workplaces. Dramanon’s work has been showcased in festivals such as the Writers Bloc Festival, Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META), NSD’s Bharath Rang Mahotsav, Theaterfestival Schwindelfrei, Germany, India@UK festival, London, Kalaa Utsavam, Singapore and most recently at The Hindu Theatre Festival.
Director: Swetanshu Bora is an Actor, Playwright and Director who works across the mediums of text, movement and musical theatre. Twice nominated for the Hindu playwright award he is also a part of the International Directors Lab Mediterranean 2020.
