About The Event
This dramatized anthology of Jayanth Kaikini’s three short stories – No Presents Please, Kannadi Illada Ooralli and Toofan mail– depicts the fragility of relations in an urban setting. The characters of these stories are in a constant hurry, always in search of some unknown entity and terrified of change. When something changes in their life, their world topples and their relations get strained. This play is a kaleidoscope of events and emotions, looking at the city of Mumbai with a fresh perspective. In its own way, the play tries to understand the simple yet difficult world of human relations
