ACT 1: A WARRIOR PREPARES by Suvendu Mukhopadhyay

(Mime)

When: 6:00-6:45 PM


Explore the captivating world of silence and expression with Suvendu Mukhopadhyay—an internationally acclaimed mime expert and a proud student of the Jogen Mime Academy.


This is not just a performance—everyone participates. Discover the power of storytelling without words as you explore body language, facial expression, and spatial awareness through engaging mime-based exercises.


Learn nuanced techniques and methods of mime and physical theatre, designed to heighten your sensitivity, control, and imagination as a performer.

ACT 2: STORM THE STAGE by Tathagata Chowdhury

(Theatrical Improvisation)

When: 7:00-7:45 PM


Step into a dynamic, high-energy improv experience led by Tathagata Chowdhury—founder of Theatrecian and an award-winning thespian known for his bold, engaging approach to performance.


This is not just a workshop you watch—every member of the audience will get to act, explore, and discover their creative instincts in real time. Through carefully designed improv exercises, participants will learn how to transform their performances by experimenting with voice modulation, body language, and spatial awareness.


The session will also introduce you to practical acting techniques and methods used by seasoned performers. Additionally, the exercise will draw from the philosophies of Konstantin Stanislavsky, Bertolt Brecht, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, and Stella Adler, offering participants a rich and diverse understanding of performance.


Whether you’re curious, passionate, or simply looking to break out of your shell, this immersive experience promises spontaneity, laughter, and powerful learning—one moment at a time.



ACT 3: LOVE CRIMES by LadyFingers

(Musical Theatre)

When: 8:00-8:45 PM


LOVE CRIMES Think femme fatale energy, toxic lovers, bad decisions, sharp wit, and songs that know exactly how unhinged the heart can get. Love Crimes is part gig, part theatre, part emotional evidence file — featuring jazz, chaos, comedy, and originals by LadyFingers.

Meet The Artists!


SUVENDU MUKHOPADHYAY


Suvendu is an award-winning Mime Exponent, Choreographer, Acro Balance and Aerial Artiste, Thespian and Theatre Educator with over 25 years of experience.


Suvendu is one of the most eminent mime artists in India today. A worthy disciple of legendary Sri Jogesh Dutta, he has elevated the millennia-old art form of mime to a new level through his innovative performances. His acting, movement, design, and overall performance are so powerful and evocative that they completely captivate the audience not just through their uniqueness but also for their emotional quotient.


Suvendu won the topmost award in the Mime National Youth Festival. He is the first student of Rabindra Bharati University to represent Indian mime in the SAARC Youth Festival and won the 2nd top most award. He was awarded the National Scholarship and the National Fellowship by the Govt. of India for Mime.


Suvendu has had much-loved theatre and movie performances and hundreds of successful shows all over the world. He has worked in films by well-known directors like Goutam Ghosh, Rituparno Ghosh, Nitish Roy and Suman Mukhopadhyay. At present, he is faculty at the prestigious The Heritage School, Kolkata.



TATHAGATA CHOWDHURY


Tathagata Chowdhury is Founder of Theatrecian (one of India`s most prolific theatre-in-English groups, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year).


Internationally acclaimed, Tathagata is Royal Shakespeare Academy certified, and, winner of Kalakranti Best Actor, Best Script awards. He was asked to represent India at the South Asian Theatre Festival in Ohio, USA.


He is an experienced Theatre and Film Educator having held workshops at National School Of Drama, Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute of India, and, at more than 100 schools and colleges including at the IITs and IIMs.


Tathagata has Produced/Directed 200+ plays, with performances across India. Having founded Theatrecian while still at law school, Tathagata is also a public speaker

and an avid marathoner (50+ finisher marathon medals).



LADYFINGERS


LadyFingers is a singer, songwriter and rapper who turns every stage into a playground of rhythm and wit, blending pop and vaudeville with razor-sharp storytelling and gentle adult comedy.


Seamlessly weaving real-life tales into her musical performances, she delivers a show that is bold, clever, and irresistibly entertaining. From punchlines that make you gasp to verses that make you groove, LadyFingers creates a vibe that is intimate, unexpected, and electric.
