Over the last 14+ years “Tuesdays with the Bard @ Urban Solace” poets have wrung tears of joy, nods of recognition, fleeting smiles, happy applause, wistful memories ... and several unforgettable poems.
ABOUT THE POET
Jahnavi Kulkarni is a Staff Engineer at one of the major Semiconductor companies by day, and a lazy poet and a writer by, well, the rest of the day. Coming from a family of writers, it`s a normal occurrence that the skill rubbed off on Jahnavi as well; although when it comes to reading, she hasn`t even read a few of the books that are at home. Her mother, to whom all the books belong, is always the one who reviews Jahnavi`s first drafts.
An Indian through and through, courtesy of her upbringing in the military campuses across the cities, towns and villages of the country, Jahnavi finally feels `at home` in this bustling city of Bengaluru, pursuing a fulfilling career, touch wood, and chasing dreams to be good and write better.
