Taj Inner Circle presents 'Whole Sum Parts' - a humorous, satirical take on the modern woman. This is a part of the Circle Series, an events platform designed for Taj Inner Circle members. The tickets are priced at INR 1,500. Tickets include an IMFL bar between 19:30 hrs to 21:30 hrs and the performance.
The play was awarded the 'Best Play'at NCPA Youtheatre Festival 2014.
The protagonists at Whole Sum Parts are two sophisticated young urban women who seem very different on the surface but turn out to be facing similar pressures and hiding their true feelings under the same veneer of hypocrisy and denial. From their story, the plot delves further into some slices from the lives of women of all ages and sizes. How the same fears revolving around looking good, keeping up with trends and living up to the expectations of everyone around them plague all of their daily lives in complex ways that often are underestimated or even unnoticed.
