About The Event
This Solo play finds the true expression of realism through the works of eminent Urdu writer `Saadat Hasan Manto` which is surprisingly relevant in the 21st century. A wandering soul of Manto trapped in a space called `Barjakh` in search of someone, interacts with the audience through a portal. The performance unveils his courageous take on humanity, his bold writings especially on women, his philosophy and obsession about expressing the truth. He speaks about what he wanted to share when no-one wanted to listen.
