About The Event
SANKI RAJA…Based on Legendary writer Acharya Chatursen Shastri’s short story Nawab Sahab Ki Kutiya in Hindi
A jobless law graduate, Kunj Bihari, narrates his misfortune. After failing at the bar, he became secretary to an eccentric Raja Sahib — whose real job was to guard the Raja's prized pedigree bitch, Zubeida. In Mussoorie, Zubeida slips away and falls for Jim, a bulldog owned by rival Raja Ramdhari Singh. What follows is a hilarious clash of two royal egos over a dog's honour. When Zubeida elopes again, Kunj is sacked, and his wife leaves him. But fate turns — the two dogs are to be married, and Kunj is called back with a double salary to oversee the wedding.
A witty take on how luck, status, and a dog's love decide a man's destiny.
