As India’s first-ever franchise-based rugby league, organized and marketed by GMR Sports, the tournament has firmly established itself as a thrilling, credible fixture on the international sevens calendar, bringing elite international stars from every major rugby-playing nation to compete alongside India’s finest athletes. Building on that incredible momentum, the June 2026 season is set to redefine Indian sports by expanding the game to include the highly anticipated launch of the official women’s league, showcasing elite female rugby talent on the grand stage alongside the high-octane men's tournament.
