About The Event
Celebrate International Chess Day with SRCA Rapid Play 2026 The tournament will be played in a 15+10 time control over 6 Swiss rounds and is open in the Open, Under 8, Under 11, Under 14 and Girls categories.
Participants will compete for cash prizes, trophies, medals, e-certificates, Chess.com memberships, goodies and surprise rewards. The event also features a full International Chess Day celebration with Lucky Draw, Tambola, AI Chess Board Experience, 4 Player Chess, Chess Photobooth, Chai and Cookies, Books Exchange Gambit, Chess Merchandise Launch, Chess Moms Club Meet, a Sports Psychology Webinar for players and parents, along with fun activities throughout the day.
